What a hot week, but the Senior Center is so cool and refreshing for a time of fellowship and a few laughs. This week we had 24 on Tuesday and 26 on Friday.
We also had two former residents of Orofino that moved to Oklahoma for a bit, but the wonderful grandchildren won out and they returned, James and Barbara Stradley. It was nice to meet new people and we hope they will continue to come so we can all get to know them.
The rental space will be used on Wednesdays the months of September and October from 12 noon to 4 p.m. There will be a painting class for beginners and those who would like to increase their skills. The fee for each class is $10. Welcome to all who want to come, even if it’s just a few.
You must bring your own paints, oil or acrylic (acrylic preferable), canvases, brushes and a cover cloth or plastic sheet to protect tables.
The subject to paint is the artist’s choice. Bring your own reference material or imagination. Loren will provide technical and artistic advice. For more information call her at 208-827-1109.
The last time Loren had these classes the pictures that were done were amazing and all skill levels were there helping and encouraging each other.
